What ARE you to play, and where is it located?
I had saved the music in a public file on the hard drive. But I couldn't get the media player to even give me the choice of adding them to a play list or playing . I put a cd in and it opens and plays. And I can copy the cd music and can put it any where but into a file that the player will download from. It does keep asking me if I want to go online and download from their offers. Any Idea -- jopa

What sort of music file/format?
How was the file added to the library? Is it in a folder monitored by the library?
I have saved it as audio file and it is on a monitored folder added manually. But It doesn't show up on the file search for a playlist It shows finding 200 hits and downloads 70 still trying but like everything else I get a error message when I try to play the song or answer to this forum but apperently the message is getting thru because of so many post I have -- jopa

You have said it's an audio file, but is it MP3, WMA, ... or perhaps something that WMP doesn't support??
